Ana is an Associate at Prica & Partners and has been a member of our legal team for the past 7 years, starting her career with the firm right after graduating. She focuses on corporate and M&A law, consumer law, restructuring and insolvency, competition.
Ana assists Serbian and international companies on all types of corporate/commercial law issues, including corporate and commercial transactions, incorporation and disinvestment matters, contract drafting and review, shareholder issues as well as corporate governance. In addition to standard commercial/corporate tasks, Ana has been handling a complex transaction involving Mercator and Fortenova reorganization and their refinancing deals for the past couple of years.
She participated as a member of the team and led the process of obtaining a number of merger control approvals in various markets. Ana was also a part of our team assisting in antitrust cases before the Serbian Commission for Protection of Competition and has advised clients on abuse of dominance and restrictive agreements issues (especially in relation to distribution agreements), and other day-to-day antitrust matters.
Alongside competition law, Ana’s special interest is AI and she attended Studies for Innovation of Knowledge – Regulating Digital Assets – Faculty of Law of University of Belgrade as well as AI Master Class: Regulating Artificial Intelligence – Legal and Technical Challenges, organized by Faculty of Organizational Sciences at University in Belgrade and the Institute for Artificial Intelligence Research and Development of Serbia.
