We are pleased to announce that several representatives of our law office – Ana Čalić Turudija (Partner), Darija Ognjenović (Partner) and Jelena Živanović (Senior Associate) attended the “Serbia – Italy Business and Science Forum”, which was held on 21 March 2023 in Belgrade.

This event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (CCIS) with the support of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and the Embassy of Italy to Serbia.

The Business & Science Forum, which was officially opened by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy, Mr Antonio Tajani, and the President of Serbia, Mr Aleksandar Vučić, brought together over 150 Italian and Serbian companies, as well as many representatives of the state institutions.

Following the introductory part of the Forum, three sector-specific round-tables together with both Serbian and Italian experts were held on the following topics:

• Technological Innovations – Green Energy and Energy Transition
• Sustainable Agriculture and Agricultural Technological Innovations
• Infrastructure

Our delegates also took part in B2B meetings with representatives of the Italian companies interested in establishing business in Serbia.

This was an excellent networking event of great benefit to all participants and which provided a very useful ground for stimulating future business and science relations between Italy and Serbia.
