Our energy law expert Ana Čalić Turudija, partner, participated in a conference organised by the Serbian Energy law Association (UPES) on 4 December 2019 in Belgrade.

Conference participants included lawyers and other energy experts from Serbia and abroad, members of the European Federation of Energy Law Association (EFELA), national associations of energy law, representatives of professional associations and institutions in the field of energy.

The main topics discussed at this event were consequences of the implementation of the EU energy legislation package; precedents in the energy law of the European Union; the relevance of the energy law in the region and the possibility of connections among energy law associations.

UPES was founded in June 2018 with the goal of linking experts in the field of energy law and energy related legislation in Serbia and Europe. The association is an associate member of the European Federation of Energy Law Association (EFELA).
