Darija Ognjenović, partner, participated as a panelist at the Earst Young conference, which was held at the relaxed settings of the Royal Palace in Belgrade on October 27, 2016.

On this occasion Darija took part as a speaker at the panel discussion of senior finance lawyers with Raj Apte, EY Head of Restructuring for Central & Southeast Europe, as moderator.

In her presentation Darija covered the subjects of (i) collateral valuation and regulation of real estate valuation profession in general; (ii) what are the main reasons for which the restructuring option according to the Law on consensual financial restructuring is rarely used.

The event provided an opportunity to discuss some of the challenges and opportunities for financing and restructuring in today’s environment, as well as to learn about innovative, new approaches to restructuring across Europe.
