We are pleased to announce that Central and Eastern Europe’s premiere legal publication, CEE Legal Matters, has identified Prica & Partners as among the winners of the 2020 Deal of the Year for Serbia for its work on Nova Ljubljanska Banka’s Acquisition of Komercijalna Banka.

Winners of this year’s CEE Deals of the Year Awards were announced in the June 2021 issue of the monthly CEE Legal Matters magazine and published on the Deals of the Year Award website, here.

In this award-winning deal Prica & Partners (jointly with AP Legal) advised the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia on sale of majority shareholding in Komercijalna banka a.d. Beograd to Nova Ljubljanska Banka.

Despite the challenging circumstances, the project was successfully closed and completed in December 2020. With total transaction value of EUR 450 million this deal represents the largest ever M&A transaction in Serbian banking sector.
