On March 14/15, 2014 our Partner Darija Ognjenović attended “Living with Competition Law Issues” seminar in Warsaw.

The Seminar was organised by the UIA Competition Law Commission under the honorary patronage of Dr Małgorzata Krasnodębska-Tomkiel, President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, in partnership with the International League of Competition Law (LIDC), The National Bar Council (NBC), the Warsaw Bar Council (WBC) and the National Council for Legal Advisers.

The seminar was structured around four main topics: (i) effective assessment of competition law risks in the modern, fast changing business environment; (ii) successful compliance with the competition law regime; (iii) emergence of brand new antitrust risks in the modern global economy and (iv) practical guidelines for undertakings under investigation by competition authorities.

In corresponding panels, leading law practitioners and in-house counsels presented their views. The special focus of this event was on practical aspects of competition law enforcement and guidelines for doing business in line with the law.

This seminar was a great opportunity to exchange and discuss views on the most important recent developments in competition law.
