Prica & Partners are proud to announce that our colleagues Darija Ognjenović, Partner and Iva Popović, Associate contributed to the EU and Comparative Law Issues and Challenges Series (ECLIC 8 – Special Issue) with the latest paper titled “Competition Issues in Labour Markets.”

This paper examines the intersection of competition practices and labour market dynamics, highlighting how certain competitive behaviours impact labour-related issues. It also explores the competitive aspects of specific labour practices, including non-compete clauses, wage-fixing and no-poach agreements.

Additionally, the paper considers the power imbalance between capital and labour, with a particular focus on digital platform work.

The publication follows the International Conference “Possibilities and Limits of Competition Law: Global Trends, Regional Perspectives”, held in Osijek, Croatia in October 2024, where Darija Ognjenović, Head of our Competition Department and co-author of the paper, was a featured speaker.
