Partners Danica Gligorijević and Ana Čalić Turudija attended a Public Private Partnership’s Closed Session Workshop in the Cogeneration Sector, which was held in Sheraton Hotel Zagreb on February 23, 2011.

This international PPP workshop organized by the IFC concentrated on heat & power, water & power, biofuels & power, transport & energy, food & energy, waste & energy.

Ana and Danica were some of the key speakers at this event addressing the audience on legal and regulatory aspects of PPP’s in Serbia. Other speakers included leading PPP legal, technical, and financing experts and high-level policy makers.

The aim of the workshop was to raise awareness about different ways of involving the private sector in cogeneration development in SEE. The participants also had the opportunity to discuss issues regarding the implementation of PPPs and to learn from lessons of previous experiences from different parts of the world.
