Our junior partner Tijana Lalić attended this year’s Associated European Energy Consultants (AEEC) Summer Camp, which took place in the picturesque German town Meisenheim from August 31, until September 03, 2016.

This year’s Summer Camp was divided into two units – one for senior partners, the other for young lawyers, while the programme also allowed for interaction between the groups. Young lawyers’ presentations focused on the challenges and the changes in the national electricity markets.

Participants from all across Europe presented some current developments in the energy market of their home countries that are of interest to all members of AEEC. Other interesting topics were the main drivers of change in the energy market, such as political aspects, security of supply or environmental issues.

Our representative’s presentation encompassed the news in energy sector in Serbia, focusing on challenging in compliance with competition rules, especially on the recent case on State aid opened by the EC Secretariat against Serbia.

The organizers also managed to put some interesting and fun activities in this year’s agenda, so all participants cooked together, went on a bicycle tour and explored the town.
