Associated European Energy Consultants (AEEC) annual Summer Camp conference took place as usual at the end of August in the tranquil German town of Meisenheim.

This year the conference titled “Global Trends in Wind Energy Generation with a Special Focus on Offshore Wind Generation” brought together speakers and attendees with various disciplinary backgrounds who came from many European countries as well Kazakhstan and the USA. Some of the topics of discussion were Technological aspects and developments in the field of wind energy generation; Global trends in the generation of wind energy; Public acceptance of off-shore wind farms in the coastal areas, etc.

In addition, the attendees of this year’s Summer Camp had the opportunity to hear national reports of AEEC members on recent developments regarding wind energy generation.
