  • LL.M. degree in European and Comparative Law at the Law Faculty Oxford University
  • Faculty of Law, Belgrade University (awarded the prize for the best students in the academic years 1997/98 and 1998/99)

Career:  Tijana commenced her professional career in 2002. Before joining Prica & Partners in 2004 she worked as a researcher at the Department of European Studies at the G17 Institute and as a junior legal consultant on the EU Acquis issues at the Policy and Legal Advice Centre (SCEPP) in Belgrade.


  • Engaged on the side of the Privatization Agency of the Republic of Serbia as the seller, and BNP Paribas as financial adviser, as a member of the legal team during tender privatizations of three socially / state owned breweries in Serbia;
  • Participated as a member of the team of lawyers in a number of transactions regarding banking sector, including term loan facility agreement to a Montenegrin commercial bank by a German and Dutch investor; EBRD loan to a Macedonian commercial bank within the project of Western Balkans SME Finance Framework; increase of capital in one of the leading national banks by a loan facility of EBRD;
  • Provided an expert legal opinion to EFG Bank regarding guarantees and collaterals.

Tijana represents clients before the domestic and international commercial arbitration (e.g. ICC) and represented, amongst other:

  • Aerovista FZE, as the Plaintiff before the Foreign Trade Arbitration Court of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (aviation law);
  • Uniworld Holdings in an ICC international arbitration against the Privatization Agency of the Republic of Serbia;
  • Shell Belgrade, a member of the Shell Group as the Defendant, before the Permanent Arbitration Court of Serbian Chamber of Commerce. Mytilineos, as the Plaintiff before UNCITRAL ad hoc arbitration (investment treaty arbitration).

Tijana advises clients on various competition law issues, especially on cartel and restrictive agreement, price fixing and resale price maintenance, and represents clients before the Serbian Competition Commission on antitrust proceedings. She also advises on IP issues (copyright protection, software rights).
