During her studies, Jelena gained additional experience by attending anextra-curriculum project under the sponsorship of National Center for State Courts in cooperation with USAID  "Drafting the legal documents and legal research" held at the same Faculty. Also, she volunteered at the legal department of the People's office of the President of Republic of Serbia.

Career:  Jelena commenced her professional career in 2009, when she joined Prica & Partners


  • Member of the team in the term loan facility by IFC to local holding company value of Eur 140 million;
  • Member of the team in potential acquisition of Volksbank leasing by a Polish leasing company Getin Holdings S.A.;
  • Team member in charge for personal data protection issues for an international English testing program;
  • Team member in charge for compliance with immigration procedures of the foreign nationals working and residing in Serbia;
  • Member of the team in sale of Droga Kolinska, majority shareholder in three major Serbian food and beverage manufacturers, to a Croatian company Atlantic Grupa;
  • Assisting AstraZeneca UK Limited Representative Office in Serbia in a variety of day-to-day operations;
  • Drafting and reviewing enforceability of agreements, representation of forced collection of disputed andhigh-risk receivables (client: Shell);
  • Assisting Enel Trade SpA, Italy in procuring energy license for supply of electric energy in Serbia, which included incorporation of a local subsidiary; preparation and submission of energy license application to the Energy Agency of Serbia; review of standard trading agreements;
  • Assisting ATEL - Aare-Tessin Ltd. for Electricityin different legal matters including drafting agreements on sale and purchase of energy for ATEL Energy;
  • Assisting E.ON, Germany in relation to obtaining energy license for wholesale and distribution of electrical power in Serbia, as well as incorporation of local subsidiary;
  • Legal assistance in establishing of companies and registration of various corporate changes with the Registry of Commercial Entities kept with the Serbian Business Register Agency.
